By nurturing relationships with likeminded organizations and private individuals, we're able to unlock new sources of capital and scale up our work far beyond what traditional funding can do alone.

Shiv Prerana Mahila Rahivashi Seva Mandal (Shiv Women’s Organization) (SPMRSM), is a charitable trust organization was registered and established in the year 2000 by a group of Women with the inspiration to help needy and destitute Women and Children. SPMRSM works in Mankhurd area of Greater Mumbai of Maharashtra state in India. Maximum slum dwellers below poverty line live around this vicinity. We have been actively involved in extending training and inputs to the women of the area in income generation as well as marketing of the products made by women, many of these products possess local demand and hence developing a chain or network of consumers within the district works successfully.

• To ensure development of women and children through education and cultural enhancement.

• To run nursery schools, gymnasium (Balsangopan Kendra) for children to extend healthcare for all.

• To organize handicraft, stitching classes, embroidery, food processing training and beautician classes for women.

• To run and undertake government aided programmes and schemes for the orphans, destitute and helpless children.

• To run crèches for small children.

• To run and undertake government aided programmes and schemes of the Social Welfare and Women and Child development Departments as well as other departments of State and Central Government.

• To establish an old age home for the aged.

• To establish a federation for providing loans to the Self-Help Groups through "Shiv Prerana Mahila Rahivashi Seva Mandal".

The role of a chairwoman is to facilitate the smooth functioning of the organization, guide discussions, ensure that decisions are made, and represent the organization to external stakeholders.
